When to Contact the Grievance Officer

  • Your data rights request (access, correction, erasure, portability) has not been addressed
  • You believe your personal data has been mishandled or disclosed without authorization
  • You have concerns about how your consent is being used
  • You wish to file a formal complaint about a data protection issue
  • You need to report a data breach that may affect your personal data

What to Include

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account
  • A clear description of your complaint or request
  • Any relevant correspondence or reference numbers (e.g., Data Rights request ID)
  • Your preferred resolution (if applicable)

Escalation

If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) established under the DPDP Act 2023. The DPBI can be approached through the channels prescribed by the central government.
